Equality, Diversity and Inclusion with Office Banter
An area of increasing importance for all organisations, our course takes delegates through the Equality Act in a lively and engaging presentation, with lots of case studies and examples.
Designed to help HR Professionals and line managers across all industries to understand why it’s good business practice for organisations to promote equality and diversity and also the legal implications of E,D & I in the workplace.
How is the course delivered?
Delivered by a collaboration between an experienced employment law solicitor and a diversity specialist, the training will cover all of the following topics;
Protected characteristics
Direct and indirect discrimination – what is the difference and why does it matter?
Disability discrimination
Harassment and managing “banter” in the workplace
Case law
The course can be delivered in a 2.5 hour session. Within this there will be a short coffee break. There will be ample time during the training for live questions and debate. The delegates will also be able to ask questions throughout. The course is very interactive and will be supported by relevant and thought provoking case study discussions.

Menopause in the Workplace
Sherrards can deliver a range of Menopause Awareness Training Programmes to your management team and employees across the business.
The courses we offer are run by Lorraine Sherrard, a highly experienced HR Consultant and Licensed Menopause Champion as certified by Menopause Experts Group (MEG). MEG champions work with and train organisations to create better supported workplaces for women.
Menopause in the Workplace Training
